Story and Lore
Greetings, Special Agent K, it's a true pleasure to meet you. I've heard amazing stories about your capabilities as an OSINT analyst, so I'm thrilled to have you on the team. Let me introduce myself. I'm Klumgongyn, the Overseer for E.V.A. and earth-bound liaison between the Klumgon race from the planet Varnyr, and you hairless apes, I mean humans.
I became attached to your little blue planet after crash landing here and being rescued by what was then called SERPENT. After years of collaboration, we've merged into a new organization.
Let me get you up to speed. E.V.A. stands for Earth Varnyr Association. A collaborative unit between the Klumgon and Humans. Since your species is somewhat of the emotional kind, shall we say.. we've opted to keep this organization a secret from your general public. Best to avoid the Roddit and TikGrams getting all mad about being in contact with another species. They seem to already have issues getting along with their own species. Anyway, I digress.
So, what we do essentially is keep both Earth and Varnyr safe from a variety of threats. And your role in all of this, if you accept the job of course, is to analyze a wide variety of information and turn this into actionable intelligence. I will then use this to take the needed actions, such as send in a Neutralization Squad, or maybe something less dramatic...
Anywho... I'm sure we'll get along fabulously well. Make sure to sign yourself up for the email list, so you get the briefings. Also join our Discord server. This is where the team chat lives. We've chosen Discord because of their impeccable record in keeping data secure and their willingness to defend their users' privacy at all costs. Exactly what we need.
Now, Special Agent K, are you ready for your first assignment?

Rifles
You have to defend yourself, even as an analyst. You never know if your current safehouse gets compromised and someone comes knocking.
M4 Assault Rifle - 3500 HC
One of the most common rifles among western and allied powers. Goes pew pew and gets the job done. Lots of upgrade options.
AK47 Assault Rifle - 3500 HC
Often seen in the hands of freedom fighters. Literally takes dirt as lubricant and will outlive its owner.
Ruger 1022 - 2000 HC
Reliable .22 caliber rifle, it's light and excellent for hunting small animals. Or your enemies..
Accuracy International AWM - 10,000 HC
Sometimes you want to end the threat long before it reaches or sees you, this will allow exactly that.
Pulse Rifle - 35,000 HC
Standard issue rifle for the Klumgon. We'd prefer if this doesn't get stolen by annyone. Will turn enemies into liquid.
Remington 870 Short - 800 HC
Can't aim? We have you covered, aim in the general direction and pull the tigger. Splish splash, your brains are trash.
Pistols and SMGs
Same story as with the rifles, but much more handy in close quarters or to conceal carry. You don't want to be caught by our enemies when out and about.
HK MP5k - 4000 HC
You've seen them in every 90s action movie, on every bad guy and of course with the SAS. Can't beat the classics.
Glock 19 - 1000 HC
It's reliable, easy to use and cheap. The gold standard for weirdly angled handguns that divide the gun community. You humans sure have opinions on your pistols.
Colt 38 Special - 1000 HC
Used by police officers and now police chiefs all across your US of A. Iconic, won't leave shells around, can be fired from a pocket. But better make sure they die with those 6 shots...
Flare Gun - 800 HC
Excellent for making yourself more visible to recue crews. Or you can shoot it a gas tank stuck in a shark's mouth.
Knives and Cutting
Knives are just cool, but also quite useful. Whether you need to do gardening, hike through the jungle or catch an enemy without an explosion.
Combat Knife - 150 HC
Oii, that's not a knoife, this is a knoife. If you undestood that reference, and have always wanted to say that, this knife is for you.
Machete - 200 HC
Machete don't text. You can wade through the jungle, king snakes, hack your enemies to pieces. Or just do some simple gardening.
Tactical Shovel - 50 HC
It's not just for digging. You can assault a trench, throw it at someone, or of course dig a number-two hole in the woods.
Bear Trap - 500 HC
If you really want to keep people away from your hideout, this is what you need. Plenty of these and some mines will keep anyone away.
Magazines and Ammo
Guns are pointless without ammo, so stock up! There's no need to hold back, these all come pre-loaded and ready to be stored. It's called stockpiling for a reason.
M4 Magazine - 50 HC
If you only have one magazine, you're gonna be out of the fight really quickly. They come with rounds, so better stock up like there's no tomorrow.
AK47 Magazine - 50 HC
If you only have one magazine, you're gonna be out of the fight really quickly. They come with rounds, so better stock up like there's no tomorrow.
MP5k Magazine - 50 HC
If you only have one magazine, you're gonna be out of the fight really quickly. They come with rounds, so better stock up like there's no tomorrow.
Glock Magazine - 50 HC
If you only have one magazine, you're gonna be out of the fight really quickly. They come with rounds, so better stock up like there's no tomorrow.
Drum Magazine - 800 HC
What's better than 30 rounds? 200 rounds of course! Keep their heads low and pump some lead down range. Hell yeah brotha! brrrrr brrrrr brrrrr
Ammo Box - 2000 HC
You can never stockpile too much ammo. Comes with whatever ammo you request, stack them high or bury them in your backyard. When SHTF you'll have enough rounds to last the war.
Pistol Holster - 800 HC
Kind of dangerous and annoying to have a pistol tucked in your belt or in a pocket. Better use a holster so you don't lose it or shoot yourself by accident.
Grenades and Explosives
You probably won't need them for any combat scenarios. However, booby trapping your safehouses is an excellent idea. Eliminate the threat and be alerted at the same time.
Dynamite - 2000 HC
Used for mining, blowing up bridges and cartoon movies. Good old reliable sticks of boom boom. Can't go wrong with these.
Cluster Grenade - 2500 HC
This is a nasty one, and I'm not sure Genava or whatever she's called would be happy. But it shoots several small grenades.
Fragmentation Grenade - 500 HC
The classic pineapple grenade, will send shrapnel flying everywhere and slice open your enemies like a gutted fish.
EMP Grenade - 500 HC
Perfect for frying all your enemies electronics, or of course your own if you need to bugout. The possibilities are endless.
Fire Grenade - 500 HC
Throw this anywhere you want to start a massive fire. Will burn hot and for quite some time. Perfect for lighting campfires.
Electronics
You'll need computers and other equipment for your OSINT work. We give you the option of buying ready made machines or building your own. Other items also available.
Computer - 2500 HC
Comes with everything you need to get going, no building required. Keyboard and mouse also included.
Computer Tower - 500 HC
The housing for your upcoming build, comes in a variety of colors for your liking. Sturdy and with plenty of space for components.
Power Supply - 500 HC
Your new build is going to need power, make sure you pick one that's strong enough to handle all those GPUs you'll be adding.
Motherboard - 800 HC
The base for all the other components to connect to. It's like the foundation of a good house, we only offer the best of the best.
CPU - 2700 HC
The Central Processing Unit is the heart of your computer. At one point in time, it was even more important than your GPU.
Cooling - 400 HC
With all those components your computer is going to run hot, so better make sure you have ample cooling. This should do the job nicely.
Network Card - 300 HC
In order to conduct our clandestine operation, we'll have to be connected to the internet. Better make sure you have one of these.
Budget GPU - 800 HC
Will reliably play the Sims 4, but anything more demanding will be a problem. But if you're strapped for cash, it's better than nothing.
Gaming GPU - 5000 HC
The latest and greatest, will trace all the rays and run so many agents your electricity bill will put you in cripling debt.
RAM - 2500 HC
Without this you won't be able to start any programs, look I know it's expensive, but without it your computer won't do much.
HDD - 500 HC
Hard Drive Disk, the spinning plates kind. Excellent for larger cheaper storage or RAID configs. Turn your build into a NAS maybe?
SSD - 2000 HC
Solid State Drive, much faster than the old spinning disks. But also more expensive and you probably just spent all your money on RAM.
Disk Drive - 450 HC
Phyisical media is cool again, you'll need this to play DVD's and CD's, or to burn your next road trip mixtape.
Router - 1500 HC
With a complete build, it's kinda useless if you cannot connect to the internet. You could hotspot, but why not do it properly?
USB Drive - 200 HC
Do not insert if found in a parking lot. Only buy these new ones. Perfect for storing data or flashing an OS image for installation.
Gameboy - 750 HC
Dice piece of retro tech if you want to have some down time between all that OSINT. Comes with some classic games.
Surveilance Camera - 600 HC
Build your own flock of these things and keep an eye on anyone approaching your safehouse. They're so common, nobody would care.
Supplies
Can't work on an empty stomach, we keep expanding our selection to keep our Special Agents well fed and caffeinated. Healthy options will expand after budget increases.
Caffeinated Soda - 5 HC
For those long hours staring at a screen, you'll want to have maximum performance. A little energy drink will go a long way.
Hamburger - 20 HC
It's really the perfect food, presented in an easy to eat format. You can practically survive forever on these. S tier food.
Croissant - 5 HC
Lovely bread for breakfast or as a quick snack, or as complete meal replacement. Made by the French, gives you special OSINT powers.
Banana - 2 HC
Sometimes you have to eat something healthy, yes even healthier than a hamburger. This yellow weenie is packet with healthy things.
Beer - 10 HC
Did you know humans have been brewing beer for thousands of years? At some point, it was even used as payment in Egypt.

Vehicles
As a Special Agent for E.V.A. you'll need to get around, preferably in style. We offer a selection of vehicles for any kind of situation and terrain.
65' Corvette - 50,000 HC
Travel in style, put the roof down and let the wind rustle your hairs. But beware, these cars can be temperamental.
Ford GT - 70,000 HC
Goes very fast and uses an insane amount of gas, but it sure is fun to drive. Comes in a variety of colors.
Nissan Skyline - 80,000 HC
If you have a need for speed and want reliablilty, this is the car for you. Beware, people wil race you around Tokyo.
Porche 911 - 40,000 HC
Iconic design and quality engineering, not a lot of storage space and definitely not family friendly. But who cares?
Jeep - 50,000 HC
Sturdy and capable of going almost anywhere, ideal if you want to spend time away from society or go off-road.
Tesla Cybertruck - 60,000 HC

We've recently gone through a transformation, away from using AI generated images and back to our original Cyberpunk Pixel Art style. The following artists provided materials for the graphics on the Hacktoria project. They are in no way affiliated with Hacktoria, we bought their artwork to use on our website. For some, we could not find the artist and used images from a wallpaper website. Others are assets available directly in Canva.

Archives
Before moving back to our roots doing CTF Events, we had a whole library of OSINT challenges available to play. These were called "Contracts", where you were part of this organization called SERPENT (now merged into E.V.A.). Since so many platforms now have OSINT challenges and paths, we chose to focus on what we do best and like most, organizing events. You can use the link below to find these old challenges. Beware, heavy AI use in the cover art graphics.
