Order of Hades

The Order of Hades finds it’s origins in the early territories of Russia. Descendants of the Varangians formed an Order to fight for money and riches. Being an organized group of mercenaries, they only strive for power and wealth. With a complete disregard for human life, or any life for that matter.

Over the years the Order has lent it’s services to anyone willing to pay the price. Becoming a hybrid form of intelligence agency and organized crime. They are not hindered by any form of morals and are often hired by criminal enterprises or governments to do the dirty work for them.

The symbol of their organization is a combination of a Spartan shield and Valkyrie Varangian sign. Combining the heritage from both into the Order of Hades.

Organization

Consisting of criminals and former military members, mostly from post Soviet nations and dictatorships around the world. The Order of Hades keeps a tight and iron fist on it’s members. Only those at the very top have any type of free agency over their destiny. Once sworn in, the only way out is being dead.

Keeping all operations and planning strictly to the top brass of the organization, the Order of Hades follows old Soviet doctrine of top-down leadership. Very little decisions are taken by the lower ranks, often waiting until their next assignment comes. From the distribution of materials to wages, all is decided at the top.

Some autonomy is given to local cells and individuals, particularly in terms of setting up local criminal networks and extracting resources from the local population. In regards to human life, a blank check is given to eradicate, torture or anything else. Often leading to the lower ranks wreaking havoc on the local population.

The might of the organization is not to be underestimated. Taking large sums from governments and organized crime for all the dirty work, the Order of Hades has significant means. Far surpassing that of many small nations.
